By placing an order with CheskaBakes, you agree to be subject to the Terms and Conditions as set out in this Terms and Conditions page.

Payment

A deposit of 60% is required to secure a spot, No order is considered confirmed and no work on the creation of your cake will commence until a 60% deposit is paid and received. remaining balance must be settled 4 weeks prior to due date. Failure to settle the remaining balance upon the due date stated in the invoice. Cake order will be cancelled.

Cake alterations & cancellations

You are allowed to change the design & flavour of your cake, if you give at least 4 weeks notice prior to due date. Any change to the original quote is subject to a quote review and viability of the changes requested. Deposit & fully paid cakes are NON-REFUNDABLE. Though you may use it as a credit to a future cake order. please give 4-6 weeks notice for the new cake order.

Allergies

Cheskabakes will not be responsible for any allergy related issues. Unless it is specified specifically on your order, all cakes and ingredients may contain or come into contact with the following allergens: Dairy/Wheat/Nuts/Soy/Gluten and other potential allergens.

Delivery

Someone must be home to accept the cake delivery. If no one is home at the time of delivery the cake will be returned to us. you will have to pick up the cake from ellenbrook.

Delivery is strictly between 9am and 12noon. Please do not be late or an extra fee may apply.

Cake props

We provide Cake Care & Cake portion guide along with your cake. please follow instructions regarding non edible cake decorations. Cake Decorations (including sugar figurines) may contain foam and wooden sticks to secure them to the cake. Some figurines and decorations may contain wire or toothpicks which can be dangerous if consumed and pose a choking hazard. It is now your responsibility to inform consumers of the cake of any risks that may be applicable to them. Cheskabakes will not be responsible or liable for any harm, loss, injury or claim relating to, or due to the ingestion of any decorating materials or props.

Whilst CheskaBakes will make every effort to inform you of non-consumable parts of the cake or dessert, we will not be responsible or liable for any harm, loss, injury or claim relating to, or due to the ingestion of any decorating materials or props.

Damaged Cakes or Incorrect Storage

After your cake or dessert has been delivered, we take no responsibility for any damage that occurs to any part of the cake or dessert while it is in your care, including if it is as a result of incorrect storage or transportation. Where you have elected for a pick up, transportation of the cake or dessert is carried out at your own discretion and we will not be responsible for any damage that occurs to the cake during this process.

Image use

Cheskabakes reserves the right to take and use photographs of your cakes and/or desserts before, during and after final display.

These images may be used for marketing, advertising, training and development and other promotional and social media purposes without any form of compensation to you.
